BoI Empowers 5000 Women in Ondo
No fewer than 5,000 women in Ondo State have benefitted from the empowerment programme of the Bank of Industry (BoI). Consequently, this came with the granting of loans to start or boost their businesses.
The BoI Executive Director, Mrs Toyin Adeniji, disclosed this to newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State capital. She said the programme was designed to empower women entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable economic growth in the country.
Adeniji spoke during the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Clinic held in Akure. He said 4,000 women had benefitted before the commencement of the clinic.
